How to Turn Off Online Status on Threads (Phone and Desktop)
Similar to Instagram, Threads also shows your online status to other users with a green dot. This helpful feature allows users to see if the person they want to contact is currently online. However, many users worry about their privacy and want to hide their active status.
Just as you can hide your online status on Instagram, Meta also allows Threads users to do the same. No matter if you are an Android, iOS, or desktop user, you can disable this option in your Threads settings.
