What is Reading Pane in Gmail?
The Reading Pane is a feature in Gmail that lets you view the full content of an email without opening it. The feature is similar to Gmail’s Preview Pane, but the main difference is that it shows the entire email on the right or bottom when you click on an email in your inbox list.

How to Enable Reading Pane in Gmail
By default, Gmail disables the Reading Pane mode, and you need to enable it through Settings. This reading pane feature is not yet available for the Gmail app (for Android or iPhone). For this, you will have to use the Gmail web client.

How to Disable Reading Pane in Gmail
If you want to turn off the Reading Pane feature in Gmail because you want to open and read all the emails, you can easily disable it. Disabling the Reading Pane will change the layout of your inbox to the default layout.

- Go to Gmail Website (https://mail.google.com/) on Any Desktop Browser.
