How to Check SSD Temperature in Windows 11 (2 Ways)
If your computer or laptop suddenly slows down or starts hanging even after installing a new SSD, then one of the reasons for this could be the SSD overheating. Although SSD heats up much less than HDD, its temperature can increase due to heavy work for a long time or poor ventilation.
Frequent increases in SSD temperature can lead to a decrease in performance and may also reduce the lifespan of the SSD. In this article, I’ve shared how you can check the temperature of your SSD with the help of third-party software and a built-in tool in Windows 11.

Note!
Generally, the ideal temperature of SSD is between 30°C and 50°C. If the temperature is between 50°C and 70°C, it means that you are doing some heavy work like gaming, file transfer, or video editing, etc.
However, if the temperature exceeds 70°C, it is a sign of danger, and staying in this range for a long time can damage the SSD.
