Yes! The Instagram camera now supports Ultra Wide mode. However, your phone requires a dedicated ultra-wide camera lens. Nowadays, phones come with an ultra-wide sensor (0.5x, 0.6x, and 0.8x), which helps in taking a great photo.

How to Enable & Use Ultra Wide Camera on Instagram on Android and iPhone
Whether you are an Android user or an iPhone user, if your phone comes with an ultra-wide camera sensor, then you can click photos with filters on Instagram. By default, Instagram’s camera is in normal mode, but you can enable ultra-wide mode in just a few moments.
To use ultrawide camera on your Instagram:
- First of All, Update Your Instagram App on Your Phone.
- Tap on Plus “+” Icon at Bottom Menu Bar.
- Select Story Option.
- Next, Pinch Zoom Out the Screen with Your Fingers.
- Now, Your Camera will Shift to Ultrawide Mode.
That’s all! Your Instagram camera has now switched to ultra-wide mode. However, please note that if you close and reopen the Instagram camera, it will open again in normal mode instead of ultra-wide.
