How to Remove ‘Search Shortcut Icons’ from Zen Browser’s Focus Search Bar
When you type some keywords in the URL bar or search bar of Zen Browser, shortcut icons appear at the bottom by default. You can find search engines, bookmarks, tabs, history, and more in these shortcuts.
Many users find these icons annoying. If you’re one of them, this article is for you. In this article, I have shared how you can remove the search engine icon from the “Focus Search” bar.
How to Remove ‘Search Shortcut Icons’ from Zen Browser’s Focus Search Bar
To hide search shortcuts in the Zen browser URL bar:
- Open Zen Browser on Your Laptop or Computer.
- Now, Type
about:preferencesin the Address Bar and Hit Enter.
- In the Left Menu Pane, Click on Search.
- Scroll Down to the Search Shortcuts Section and Uncheck the All Search Engines.
That’s all! Once you complete the above-mentioned steps, the search engine shortcut icons will be completely hidden from the Zen browser’s URL bar.
