If you use the Outlook desktop app on your Windows laptop or computer, you can easily change the time zone by following the steps mentioned below. Note: In this article, I have used the new Outlook app, which is working on Windows 11.
To change time zone on new Outlook application:
- Press Windows + S and Search ‘Outlook’ and Open It.
- Click on Gear Icon (⚙) at Top Right Corner.
- Click on Calendar in Left Menu Pane.
- Scroll Down to the ‘Display My Calendar in Time Zone:’ and Click on Dropdown Icon ▽.
- Now, Select Your Required Time Zone.
- Add a Label and Click on Save Button.
Note: You can change the time zone by following the same steps mentioned above on the Microsoft Outlook website.

How to Change the Time Zone in Outlook Mobile App (Android and iPhone)
If you’re using the Outlook app on your Android or iPhone, unfortunately, the option to change the time zone is not available in the mobile app. But don’t worry; you can change the time zone by logging into Outlook Web in your mobile browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge etc.). For this, follow the steps given below.
To set different time zone in Outlook on Android & iOS:
- Open Any Mobile Browser and Log into Outlook Website.
- Tap on Three Lines (≡) at Top Left Corner.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Time Zone.
- Tap on Time Zone Dropdown Arrow ▽.
- Select Your Required Time Zone.
- Tap on Tick (✓) Icon to Save Changes.

How to Stop Outlook from Changing Time Zones Automatically
If your Outlook keeps changing the time zones automatically, you’re not alone. Fortunately, you can prevent Outlook from automatically changing the time zone in Windows OS. For this, you need to disable the ‘Set time zone automatically’ option in Windows Settings.
- Press Windows + I Simultaneously to Quickly Open Settings.
- Click on Time & Language and Select Date & Time.
- Turn Off ‘Set Time Automatically’ Toggle.
