TikTok’s new feature not only lets you comment with pictures on videos but also allows you to reply to other people’s existing comments with images. This feature is currently available for Android phone, tablet, iPhone, and iPad users.
How to Add Pictures on TikTok Comments on Android and iPhone
You can make your comments more engaging by adding images to TikTok video comments. Not only that, but you can also pair the image with relevant text to make your comment stand out.
To put images in TikTok comments:
- First of All Update Your TikTok App from Play Store and Apple Store.
- Now, Open TikTok App on Your Phone and Tap on Video Comments Icon.
- Tap on Gallery Icon at Bottom Comments Section.
- Now, Select a Photo from Your Gallery.
- Next, Type Some Text (If You Want) Then Tap on Up Arrow Icon.
- Your Comment with Picture is Now Live on TikTok.

How to Fix If Add Photo to Comment Option Not Showing on TikTok
If you want to add photos in TikTok comments but the option is not showing up, there could be several reasons for this, such as an outdated TikTok app, a corrupted TikTok cache, or the feature not being available in your region, etc. To resolve this issue, you can follow the methods mentioned below.
#1. Update Your TikTok App
If the “Add Photo to TikTok Comments” option is missing, first ensure that you are using an updated TikTok app. This is because outdated versions of TikTok may not have the latest features. To update, go to the Google Play Store on an Android device or the Apple App Store on an iOS device and update TikTok to the latest version.
#2. Clear TikTok Cache
Sometimes, corrupted cache can prevent you from posting photos in TikTok comments. Fortunately, you can easily fix this issue by clearing TikTok’s cache. Follow the steps below to do so.
To clear TikTok app cache on an Android phone:
- Open Settings App on Your Phone.
- Navigate to Apps > All Apps > TikTok.
- Tap on Storage & Data.
- Tap on Clear Cache.
Like Android, there is no dedicated option to clear the corrupted cache of an app on iPhone. However, the outdated data can be cleared by offloading the app on iPhone.
To do this, go to Settings > iPhone Storage > TikTok > Offload App > Confirm by Tapping Offload App > Then, Reinstall the App.
#3. Check for Region Availability
If the option to comment with images on TikTok is still missing after updating the app and clearing the cache, it likely means you’re not eligible for this feature yet. Currently, TikTok has only rolled out this feature in a few countries. However, in the coming time, this feature will be available to all users.
In this situation, you should wait for your turn and keep checking for TikTok updates on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store continuously.
