The Snapchat app’s features require a strong internet connection to function properly. If the Internet connectivity is poor or not working at all on your Android phone, tablet, or iPhone, you may see the message “Something went wrong” on the screen when you accept a friend request.

#2. Make Sure There’re No Expired Friend Requests

If you have a lot of old friend requests on Snapchat that are still pending, it’s possible that many of those requests have expired. If you try to accept these expired requests, you will be unable to. To get rid of this, the sender will have to send a fresh request again, which you will be able to easily accept.
